Title: Pedestal lights

OK got a question! I have some blackout pedestal lights for Zelda, I went to drop them in and the hood of the bulb fouls on the head light guard. Is there a different style of bulb with a shorter hood?

I personally have only seen one, but that probably doesn't mean much.

Mine are a tight fit but do go in
Bulb # Is 105860 dated April 23 1945
Hood is 2 1/2 inches measured center of bulb by I
Just curious if any one has a different measurement.

i get the same 2 1/2" measurement from underneath the hood. or 2 3/4" for the hood length

my guards have a 1/4" gap from the hood.

Thanks guys it looks like the guard is the problem. The other issue I had was my spacer wouldn't let my lights drop all the way down so I could turn them into place. But mostly the guards.
