Title: oil pressure and winch cable?

how much and what type cable is required for winch? ....how much oil pressure is normal when warm for the ax 160?   thanks....

The winch uses 5/8" cable and 220 feet of it. A lot of people use 1/2" cable which is a little cheaper. My halftrack runs between 20 and 40 psi of oil pressure.

thanks for the response ....my oil press is 40 cold and 35 hot....I will need to purchase more cable...thanks htn

TM 9-710, pg.29 - "Normal readings are from 4 to 8 psi with engine idling, and a maximum of 20 to 35 psi with engine running at operating speed".
