Has anyone been able to get repro data plates for their gearbox and PTO??
-
I am having reproduction data plate made for the halftrack gearbox. Would anyone be interested in having one made? You can have your serial number stamped on the plate for a small additional cost.

Just been advised that if we can get 4 or more orders for the plate the cost will only be $27.50 US ( 25 Euro ) each.

Found them on UK eBay. Here is a link:

That plate is close but not an exact match. There are major differences in what is on the plates.
That's why I have decided to get the correct plates made up. I will also be getting the curved winch PTO plates done at a later date.

Just received the initial artwork for the gearbox data plate. If interested go here to order -

Just got the first photos of the completed gearbox data plate. This is an etched plate with the correct colour.
Still waiting on final price.
Looks good....... :)

Mine arrived today. Very happy. He stamped the serial number for me as well. Thanks for taking lead on this and making it happen.

Got my plates and they are great. Although they are only a small part, they just add the finishing touch.....

Unfortunately they are no longer available. The I was hoping to get the PTO data plate done as well but, as there were not very much interest in the gearbox data plate, the amount of sales by the supplier was insufficient enough to cover his manufacturing costs. So unless we can get a firm undertaking of orders for any other 'special' types of data plates then we won't be able to get them made as there needs to be a minimum order to make the manufacturing of them a viable project for the supplier. If you are wondering if I have tried other suppliers, I have and the answer is the same. If there is not enough interest then they won't be produced.
