Title: new after market horns
Post by: steve1973 on December 18, 2010, 03:44:24 PM
I found this place when looking for horns for my old Chevy truck. Even though they are under a Lucas name they are in fact identical to the ones Delco made. The contact info is:

NOS Locators
587 Pawtucket Ave.
Pawtucket, RI 02860
(401) 725-5000

They post these time to time on E-Bay under

Pair LUCAS Style Horns Bugeye Jag MGTD MGA TR2-4A SP250

Cost for the pair back in 2006 was $66.66 plus $12 for shipping.

See photos below. Original set is on top.

Steve,

Thanks a lot for the heads up on the horn thing. The originals on mine look as if though my half track drove over a landmine and the full blast was absorbed by the horns. I called the folks in R.I. that you referenced. Of the two pictures, they only have the top bug eye horns available. The cost was $69 for the pair and $11 for shipping. No complaints here. Hopefully I'll have them early next week. Of course its too darn cold here to actually install them. I'll have to look at the box longingly until April or so.

                                                  Thanks again,

                                                         Chris
