from reading one of the TM manuals i find the cap should start releasing between 8-9 psi.
i have found a 7psi cap for the surge tank that i am going to use. the radiator cap is a different story, from reading other military truck forums i have found some are using a fuel tank cap, i think they replace the hard paper gasket with a rubber one. if anyone has a better part number or idea let me know.
surge tank cap
napa number 7031418
stant number 10282
radiator cap
i am still working on this. stant number 10625 fuel cap fits perfectly but its vented and i haven't found a non vented equivalent yet.
tractor part number IHS337 is close but its not a tight fit

I am having trouble locating a radiator for my M16 roller model and wanted to see if anyone can give me dimensions their radiator so I can source something new.

Hi Tim,
It sounds like you are looking for a radiator and not radiator caps. Is that correct? If so you should create a new post in the parts wanted section. I'm sure someone has a good core for you.

I have about 8 used radiators and I think all would need new cores.
$400 each
I think finding a used one and soldering a new core in is the way to go unless you can find a nos one.

What is everyone using as a radiator cap? I see Steve mentioned a venting cap earlier in this thread, is that what everyone is using? I assume a venting cap would cause the expansion tank to be useless.
Thanks!

just don't buy one of Garys. they are a vented fuel cap with a weak spring type latch. don had one at tower park that was leaking everywhere.

For those of you that have used the Stant 10625 vented fuel cap, how did you convert it to non-vented? Thanks DW
