Can anybody with knowledge of the Red Diamond engines fitted to internationas help me out, I live across the pond and info/ spares for these engines is very difficult to find here.
I want to know if the civilian red diamond 450 cid engine is the same as fitted into the military half-tracks and trucks, these engines seem to have RD450 Bs fitted, what does the B stand for, are all these engine fitted with three section exhaust manifolds and updraft carburetors??
I want to know if the exhaust sections from civy engines will fit the military engines as these tend to crack if water drips down from the hood seams onto the hot manifold (we get plenty of rain over here) my manifold has been weld repaired in the past so I would like to have a replacement just in case.
I am also looking for some valve rockers, pushrods and rocker shaft mounting pedestals so that I can rebuild an incomplete spare cylinder head I have acquired.
Hope someone with knowledge or experiance of these engines can help answer or advise me.
Hopefully

Get into contact with Liberty Engineering in the UK for parts.
Or BAIV in the Netherlands.
Liberty engineering is a halftrack parts dealer and I believe has the best source of international halftrack parts available.
BAIV is a military vehicle restoration business and has restored a number of International halftracks, so may be able to provide information as to where they get their parts from.

International HT's are very rare in the States so parts here are not abundant.
