Feel free to ask me anything you want to know about the urethane bogie wheels. I started the project after a set of like new bogies peeled off just after 6 to 9 miles. These looked like new and had only been slightly used. I didn't trust that the NOS ones wouldn't do the same thing. So I looked for an alternative and that is how I came about to the urethane retreads.

I also have a full set of 16 urethane retreads from Rich and will be working on getting them installed on my HT this winter. Including the freight to get them to Rich (I had a friend that was passing through St Louis pick them back up) I've got about $90.00 apiece in mine. So if you take the $35.00+ each I saved (With NOS I would have to pay freight to me) it comes out to more than $560.00 in savings.

Who did them for you?

I had a local place do them for me. My friend may be needing some done soon and I may have a few to get done also, if you are interested in gwtting in on a batch.

I might be interested depending on price, and i guess shipping would be a factor

I just put mine on the right side so I will probably have some extras done up as soon as I can get Rick to bring them down to you again.
