Hi All,  A rough estimate on the shipping cost to send a M 3 about 500 miles. Thanks, Rob

Do you have a photo of the halftrack to be shipped? If it is a cab and chassie halftrack, no rear armor or floor you should be able to have it shipped by a towing company with a long roll back. The weight is a big issue. It it has everything then you are looking between 8-10K pounds and will need a big truck and trailer to tow it. I would check big rig towing companies and U-Ship.com. I've used them in the past. It shouldn't cost more than $500-1000 I think.

Where from and Where too?  A friend of mine has moved two for me.  First one Illinois to MA with my 2009 chevy single tire rear axle.  Had no rear armor or motor.    Second one came from NY to MA.  No rear armor, but a LOT of parts and he did it with his dually Chevy pick up.   He has recently bought a "big rig" with a winch.

Hi all, actually it is a fully intact scout car that would go from NC to NY, West Point. Just trying to get a rough estimate to see if it will be cost effective even to buy it. Thanks, Rob

Rob – When I bought my half track I just went online to a few transport companies and gave them the particulars and requested a quote. I did it all by email so I'd have written responses. Beware though – you'll be bombarded by brokers emailing you for the business. They're a ravenous bunch! Good luck.

A quick guess would be somewhere between $1500 and $2000.

Thanks for the help. It would travel 620 miles... I was thinking close to $3000. I shipped a car to Fl about 5 years ago and that was $800.00 so i was thinking this is a least 5 cars. I will have to check on the weight. What does a car weigh? Thanks, Rob.

Rcassin, I shipped my track last year from Southern Cali to Wisconsin for $1250.  Shipped on a low boy flat bed semi.  Also, the weight will be between 14-18K pounds depending on if it as the rear armor and and stuff on it. Hope that helps.
