Title: M16 rear frame connection to fighting compartment floor
Post by: AllanD on January 19, 2018, 04:45:16 AM
Hi Everyone,

This is the first time I have posted on here and I am looking for a bit of help.

I build plastic models of military vehicles, I am currently working on an old Tamiya kit I started 20 years ago. Unfortunately a few key parts are missing, namely the fighting compartment floor part. I have got plenty of good references and pictures that describe what the floor looks like from above. What I don't have is much in the way of details of what connects the floor to the frame. I know there are brackets but I am not sure how much of a gap these made between the frame and the floor. I am also not sure how the rear of the frame connected to the rear armour plate of the fighting compartment.

If anyone has any pics of this underside of the fighting compartment / frame are that would be a great help.

Thanks eveyone, love seeing these vechicles being restored.

Allan

I will be selling the rear floor soon. I am keeping the ring for my quad for my other m16, sorry.
