Hi does anyone have a number or source for the guage lights? I'm missing all of mine including the sockets thanks
-
The bulb number is 1247. They're pretty common and if you don't want Chinese ones, sometimes you can get NOS Westinghouse, GE, etc. on ebay.

No. I need one for my tach light but I haven't started looking for one yet.

Bumping this post...anyone get a lead on the right kind of bulb receptacles?

Bumping this. I have one socket/receptacle that might be reusable if I'm careful, but would like to get two new ones if I can find them.

If you have a good socket the wire leads can be purchased for them. The new leads will have shorter wires but have the little button crimped on the ends for the light bulb to contact. At least I used to buy them for repairing truck lights. Since led lights came into the picture I have not bought any. I may still have a few on the shelf though. Oh and I have a bunch of those light bulbs too.

I usually make the leads by soldering a small brass rivet to the end of the wire.

This one is probably okay, but I need one more.

You can get replacements at most auto parts store. That is where I got mine. For example - https://www.ebay.com/itm/315380553899?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=gtdXUZxmQ16&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=CPjdZuyMTOy&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Thanks Steve...one piece of the puzzle down. Any ideas on the socket housing? It's unique due to location of the ridge that clips into the bracket.

Still looking for one of these sockets...haven't found a suitable replacement yet.

Leo has these if anyone else is looking....
