Does anybody have a good source to have a carberator rebuilt?
Thanks

Daytona parts company,. 1-386-427-7108.
They actually build kits and are a supply source to other companies, and they also rebuild carbs as well. Top notch work. I had them rebuild one of mine.

How much for the re-build?

I will have to go back and check and see if I have an invoice from them. But I think it was around $250, they put in new butterflies, and shafts, and installed new bushings if it was needed. They also, fixed a stripped out screw hole where the pump arm piviots. From my understanding, it is very difficult to rebuild the fuel pump ( what ever you call it) thing with the leather seal. It needs to be taken apart to be able to install the new leather cup. So when I sent mine in for rebuild, I sent along and extra, to have as a spare.

Beer man,
Thanks for the info. I called them it is 250 for a rebuild and they said they have a ton of parts. They did a Jeep carb for me a few years ago and it runs like a champ.

Then and Now Automotive did both my carb and fuel pump. The did a great job. I highly recommend them. Here is a link to my post on them. http://halftrackinfo.com/index.php?topic=1401.0
