Gentlemen:
Took my PTO shaft to the local driveshaft shop, and he appeared perplexed when he looked at the U-joint on the PTO side of the shaft (not the winch side).
Is this a common U-joint? He thinks it is a purple squirrel. Can someone shed some light, or point me in the right direction, so we don't force a square peg in a round hole?
Thanks,
kk

Joint should be the same on both ends of the shaft. I do have them in stock.

Awesome, thanks Kevin!
Let me see what the local shop can do...if they fumble, I will be sending funds your way. :-)
Cheers!

No joy in Mudville...
I have to shake my head sometimes. My local shop (as they say in the South, "God Bless their heart") goes to me: "That must be something foreign--it ain't nothing that GM makes".
Inside voice: "Yeah, couple of things: a) it is over 75 years old, b) told you it was a White--never mentioned GM, c) thanks for just putting it aside and not telling me you couldn't find a replacement for three weeks.
While I do share my recommendations for small businesses that do great work and customer support, I am disappointed to say that I do not believe that Greensburg Machine and Driveline will be included in that list.
sincerely,
