Title: Track tensions spring compressor
Post by: Cleprechaun on July 27, 2020, 03:59:16 PM
Placing this thing on the end of the spring compressor bolt really makes replacing tracks much easier. I can to a track by myself with it. The I D of the pipe is about 1.5”. You need it to be a little sloppy so it can adjust to different angles as you tighten the bolt.

Could you please provide some close ups of the the adapter you made .. length etc ... did you weld a fitting on the end for the spring?  Great idea, was just curious.

Thanks,
