We found a house with a big detached shop in Morrison Colorado so will be moving in about 45 days or so. I currently Hell Hound at a local hunting club and plan on leaving her there for the time being. Want to get out to Colorado and get a feel for the area, figure out all the rules/regulations, before moving the track. Any halftrack owners on here living in the greater Denver area that can clue me in? Send me a PM and we can chat offline-
Much appreciated.

Hi Pat,
Congratulations with your new home! I'm not from Colorado by far but I've been there for some time and it is beautiful!! Hope all will work out for your halftrack as well!

I love the name, where do you guys come up with such good names. I try to imagine a name and then think it really lame so I may just have to steal one from a WW2 photo.

Brit Plumber. See the post “Nicknames, Markings and Unit Designations” under the painting section of this site for some ideas for track names.
My track is named after my old Battalion’s nickname “The Hounds of Hell”
And thanks for those who PM’d me. Got some good points of contact.

Brit plumber, you could always name it after the wife! The name on my halftrack has an interesting story, when I was restoring her I had a friend who was in the IDF ( Israeli Defence Force) . I told him I restoring a halftrack as we gave about 3000 Halftracks to the IDF. So he says “ oh the ones with the wheels in the front and tracks in the back?” Yes I replied, and he said “Oh a Zelda” so there you go!
