im not sure where these came from. i did check a few measurements from the m2 rear floors i have here and they match, so who ever drew these up used an original m2 rear floor to get these measurements. i cant say if everything is accurate but these would be useful if you are measuring one up and could use these printouts to quickly verify.

Check with RocnTJ. He is currently building one for his M2A1. He got his measurements off my original floor.

16 GA for the sheetmetal parts (approx. 1/16") and 11 GA for the structural parts (Approx. 1/8"). Let me know if you need anything else. Check out my thread for additional details I am about 80% complete with my floor rebuild.

Great! Thanks Guy's! I am working on trying to get everything designed and ready to build from 7000 miles away. It makes taking measurements a bit of a task. Tom I will make sure to check out your thread.
Thanks!

Hi Steve-O Mystery solved on where the plans came from. I made these plans to send out to several sheet metal fabricators to get estimates for the cost of building the bed for my M2. I made them from a bed I got from Jack Tomlin in Utah back around 1987. I intended to add the angle iron (bent flat sheet) at the top of the foot lockers myself and this is part of the top of the bed in between / under the ammo boxes so I never included it on the plans. Also the angle iron (1/8 in. bent flat sheet) is missing that goes under the hole assemble (the pieces that go from side to side where the bed bolts to the frame flanges) Hence there sort of incomplete. (I have always intended to finish them up as they kind of got all over the Internet, but never had the time) The plans are for all to use and I am glad to help another M2 builder. I wish there were sights like this one when I was building my half track back then.
Take care, and nice sight you guys have here.
Tim Sutter :)
dfanders Part P is actually P (for main Part) ie P-A, P-B, P-C. Pages B are for "Box", W is for "spot Welding", and page A-1-4 is for the "tabs that hold the floor in place. The parts with their letters are all seen on page D-1 "the assembly Drawing page" Page 2
