Title: 18 Months of Sitting!
Post by: mkoloc on March 26, 2022, 11:52:49 AM
Pulled my track out of the National Museum of the US Air Force after my 18 month loan.  When I fired her up there was a obvious miss and I'm pretty sure I have a stuck valve.  Other than pulling my head (Not possible right now as she is going to several shows and then to a warbird museum for display) anyone have any suggestions regards that stuck valve?  She started right up after sitting all those months which was excellent and other than the valve issue is running nicely.

You could pull the valve covers and visually verify if one is stuck.  You could also try to manipulate the stuck valve(s) while the covers were off.

Corey, pretty sure its #6 after pulling my plug wires one at a time.  I'll do just that!  Much easier than pulling the head.
