Title: another m2a1 halftrack found in northern ca

i have a friend that sprays roundup type chemicals around farms and railroad tracks that told me about a halftrack he saw. i was able to chase it down today. the owner is a young guy in his thirties that plans on restoring it. he also has a friend down the road with another halftrack that i wasn't able to see today. i will try and get them to join the site and post more pics of there progress.

Wow it's got the chevron tread on the front tires. Very cool 8)

they have a couple of the bomb trucks also that you can kind of see beside it.

here is another m2a1 halftrack located in stockton ca. not for sale.
its in perty rough shape, missing front roller, heavy plating on the frame, the engine may have water in it.

i think the frame number 26 is the lowest i have ever seen

My gosh! that looks like 1/2" plate steel on the back. That had to be one heavy track when it was set up and loaded!

yep those are stainless bolts.
the engine and radiator are nos.

it was started as a partnership. one of the partners died, i dont think much progress was made after that.
