here are the lengths and sizes of the original hoses.
(3) 1 1/2" hose by 3 1/2" long
(1) 1 1/2" hose by 2 1/2" long
(3) 1 3/4" hose by 3" long
(8 ) size 24 hose clamps
(6 ) size 28 hose clamps
i buy the hose in 3 foot lengths then put it in my lathe with a razor clamped to the tool holder to make nice cuts.

Steve,
That hose material looks identical to the NOS hoses.

I had a lower radiator pipe made at my local muffler shop out of stainless steel. They have the dimensions on file and can make more. I paid $75 but there is a quantity discount for 6 or more.

Henry,
Looks really good. I bought a NOS one from Rod Shaver. Pitty shipping to Europe is expensive.
Are you using the old valve in the new pipe? My old valve is broken and NOS pipe did not have it.
Anyone have a spare?

Wouldn't just a regular drain cock work? Local hardware store should carry them, maybe even match one up for a automotive parts catalog? I bought mine from Rod too, NOS but missing drain cock

I put the nipple on myself. all I did was cut a 1/4 inch pipe coupling in half, weld it on and drill the hole. I used the old drain cock. Most auto stores will have an engine block drain. another place you might try is a john deere dealer. probably any tractor built in the 40's would have one somewhere on the engine.

I found these in mcmaster carr. They are not exact but are brass and only cost about $8.
