Title: My M2 half track at tower park
Post by: O.D. HOG on October 29, 2013, 12:46:42 AM
This is my M2 half track back in 2004 at Tower Park.  O.D. Hog as I call it, is sporting it's M2HB, 1917, and 1919 under the canvas.  I think it took me 18 years to get to this point.  The last photo is where it all started.

An inside picture (of a picture in a magazine) of my half track getting ready for the 2003 MVPA meet at the Hornet.  Sorry about the quality.

Thank you for the welcome.  Yes I have done the set up for the heater and heater valve in the engine.  I bought the heater switch from Rod Shaver and he said it is correct for the half track and scout car.  But I seek a different heater switch, the one I have seen in the TMs.  I saw one in person  when I went up to Jack Tomlin's place.  He had one in a half track he almost sold me but changed his mind just before I put down the $$$ for the pile of stuff we retrieved from his "recycle yard".  It might be a dodge switch, it is a six sided nob.  This is a running joke with me and Rod and George Hilton (when I see him) I always ask for a heater switch.  The story of how I came by this heater is a good one but I have to get to work now.  I might put it to words tonight.
Take care Tim :)

Wow, the last time I saw George Hilton is when he lived in a castle in New York. I still have his catalog from the mid 1980s.
