Title: top bow spacers
Post by: 47lincsled on April 07, 2014, 12:19:32 AM
I've been wanting to make a set of spacers for the top bows to hang stuff off of for shows, the short pieces that plug into the perimeter rail then the bow plugs into it, I have one that is 12 1/4 inches long, I assume that one is for the center bow, it's too long for the front bow with a pulpit, and I can tell the rear two are bent, what I need are the measurements of the rear two and the angle of the bend, it will be a while before I can afford a canvas top but I like the look of just the bows hanging on the side or across the rear in the grab handles, and like I said the adapters would be handy for hanging packs and stuff from. Does someone make these? Thanks Bob.

For the front one on an m2a1 or m3a1 13 3/8        middle ext is 18 3/8        rear 22 1/8

do you have the holes in the upper rails for the exts to pass thru? The centers are easy, the rear as i put mine in shouldnt over hang the rear armor, i lined it up.You should have the t fittings, exts and top bows before welding and or bolting to make sure it lines up.
