Title: Transmission removal, a little too easy?
Post by: A National Acrobat on September 02, 2018, 05:31:52 PM
Just one day this weekend on the 'Track. I pulled the gearbox and transfer-box out, another step closer to a bare frame so we can get that repaired.

Big lump but it came out very easily which was a nice surprise.

The transmission actually looks alright but obviously I'll know more when we pull it apart. Certainly looks a hell of a lot better than the original engine, more of a boat anchor than a motor!

Slowly getting there. Only real problem now is that I'm running out of room, stripping vehicles is alright but they take up three times as much space!
