Types of hinges

Are the hood hinges the same as the door hinges? My hood hinges have greatly disolved but seem less rounded than my door hinges. Has anyone tried “hand making” a hinge ?

Hinges on the outside of the hood are the same as door hinges.

To repair hinges guys have removed the pin, drilled out the hole and inserted new pins to make the hinges good as new. The are posts here on the board showing how to do it.

I have noticed a slight difference  in manufactur of hinges on  is your track a diamond t?

If you have a mill you could make your own but there are some really nice repos out there for about$50
Also if you have extra inside hood hinges you can countersink them for door or windshield  hinges
