Years ago I made a robust jig to mount my very stuck crabs in so I could unstick them. It works well with the use of a Bottle jack or bumper jack. Basically, you slide two very long pipes over the spring nipples and jack them up. A zirt, some liquid wrench, and some heat helps. If anyone can us it, come get it.
