Radiator Armour corner braces
« on: November 04, 2021, 06:12:25 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I'm getting into a White M2A1 and was wondering if anyone could share the dimensions including thickness of the Corner braces that go inside the front armor/louver area.  I think they would be correct for what I've got?

As can be seen in the pics, there is a cross brace, but only a square nut acting as a spacer to connect it at it's upper ends.  The top assembly/ hood are being supported by the pieces of metal mounted on 45s on the outside of the hood armor frame. I am still looking for all of the louver armour and linkage parts, so don't have them to help ensure a good fit for the corner braces.

Thanks for any info, and also thanks to all who have shared in the past here! I have learned so much and another old M2 has benefited from it.

You could probably get a good approximation from my photo. As it’s out of view it doesn’t need to be exact so you could make one until you find a correct item.
