rear bed canvas bow attachment points
« on: January 19, 2014, 10:07:23 PM »
Hi guys, Im trying to figure out what bracket is used to attach the top canvas bows under the toprail. I have seen little t shaped brackets that are bolted/welded to the inside armor,  and others I have seen a bracket of flat metal welded on under the upper perimeter rail. I see gary has the t fittings. What setup do you guys have?

Andy,
It varies depending the model of halftrack you have and what rebuilds they have been through. I have a M2 converted to an M2A1 and have seen at least two variants for top bow mounts. What model halftrack do you have?

Thanks for the reply Steve,
Actually it is an M2A1. It is a complete repro rear section so im starting from scratch with no holes except in the upper rail where bows go thru for mounting

I got the t brackets that mount on the wall but i have no pre drilled holes. I have the m2a1, i know where the half bow at the front goes, any one have the floor to bow height for the middle and rear. Also on the rear, its tilted back?
