Trip meter drum
« on: February 24, 2017, 01:40:06 PM »
Can anyone tell me how to remove the trip meter drum from the housing? I just don't want to break it.

Thanks,

Dave

You have to carfully pry the back of the bevel off and remove the glass. Then remove the neddle carfully by pulling it strait off. Remove the 2 screws holding the face plate on and the wheel cluster has a C clip on the gear side and a screw on the other side. Once those are off slide it to the rigjt to free the shaft and lift it out.

On the right side there should be a groove cut into the shaft with a clip holding the gear on. Use the needle nose pliers to push the clips open side off the shaft and it should slide out.
