Adding the zerks to the support arms was tough, the metal is hardened. I had to replace all 8 of my original arms during the rebuild because they were worn out. One of the replacements we purchased had the zerk holes already drilled. The outlet hole for the grease is set at 90 degress from the zerk exiting through the top of the support pin. This is the contact surface where the grease is needed. I do not plan on greasing these much, since the open contact surface will collect dirt.
