Israel Halftrack at Tower Park

I thought I would post some info on the track with some walk around photos. As mentioned before this track is now owned by the owner of Jelly Belly jelly beans. This is one of 8 or 9 vehicles he purchased in the Littlefield auction last summer. He has a full time crew that works on these vehicles and have done a fantastic job. As for this halftrack they took it down as close to bare metal and repainted it. They have done a surperb job thus far. They are interested in info specifically on the Israel halftracks and it's running gear. I did lear something interesting though. It has a modified Southern Parts power steering kit on it. As soon as I saw the pump I knew what it had. Very interesting. I wonder if this was one of the tracks sold by Southern Parts to the Israels. Enough chatting, here are the photos. Enjoy!

Thanks for posting all the detailed pictures!  It's amazing the number of Mods the Isreali's did to the Halftracks.  It is still heartbreaking to know they scrapped those 3000 halftracks a few years ago!
