Carburetor type?
« on: January 05, 2016, 09:43:23 PM »
I'very looked but can't find any info on what the carburetor number is for the halftrack carb.  I know it's a stromberg AAV2 model, but is it type 619 or 4109.  Thanks for any help!

Here is some info I found when rebuilding my carburetor. Since I'm in the process of rebuilding my engine I decided to send off both my carburetor and fuel pump to Then and Now automotive for rebuilding. In doing some searches for carburetor rebuild kits for the Stromberg AAV-2 I also found some other numbers needed to get the correct kit.

Stromberg AAV-2 carburetor (cast in the base on bottom flange)
P-23739 (This is also cast into the base on the bottom flange, opposite side)
Stromberg # 380053 (not sure where this number is yet)
Symbol # 372626 (I've found this number stamped in the base of all the carbs I have)
