Removing the tach
« on: July 01, 2016, 07:04:08 AM »
This is probably a stupid question but I took the bolt and nuts off the backside of the tach but I'm not sure how to remove it. Dose the tach remove from the front or from the back? Just don't want to break it. Thanks in advance.

Tach enters dash panel from the backside. So if you are in the drivers seat you should be able to push it out of the panel.

There is a lip around the face of the tach that keeps it in the dash. Do I need to use two screw drivers on each side of the tach and push it in at the same time?

No screw drivers! One hand in front gently pushing and one hand behind gently pulling. Might help to twist it a little.
