tire and track chains
« on: September 19, 2016, 09:07:12 PM »
I picked up some rusty chains at a garage sale but they turned out to be too large for an 8.25 x 20 Halftrack tire and too short ( plus the spacing of the cross links was off, to be track chains). They had several arc type adjusters along the edge chain of one side. Does anyone have info or pictures of what HT tire and track chains look like?

I have since found out that they are standard long haul truck tire chains. I still would like to know about real HT chains if anyone has information .

Those are cam chains pretty modern. I may have bought the last set of halftrack chains for the tracks. Rod Shaver may have chains for the front tires.
