lever type keyless ignition switch

i haven't been able to find anything like this in the civilian market place except maybe the 1933-1934 ford cars but its not worth messing with.
the ford GPW jeeps and the CCKW used one that is pretty close. i have seen them used in a few halftracks and they look great.
Ron Fitzpatrick has these.
if anyone has found something better from a non military parts supplier let me know.

the dash mounting hole is 1" and this switch has 3/4" threads.
it is supposed to fit holes up to 1"

I have seen 2 types of levers that fit to the switch. One with a screw, one without. Anyone have an idea if this
is early vs late feature? Please note that the switch on the right is not an original one.

Looking at getting a keyed version. On the wiring diagram it shows 2 wires but has a ground sign close to one of the wires though. Is the switch grounded and have 2 pos terminals?

Thats the one i was looking at, the ign switch has 2 wires, but on one of them there is a line to ground.

Andy, that line shows to ground is a condenser. Which you don't need if your not going to run a radio. So the hot line comes from the ammeter, to the ignition switch, out to the gas gauge, to the coil.

If you want a keyed switch then get one with on/off only. there should only be two terminals. That's all you need.

Ok, looking at keyed switches there are different amp ratings. Any ideas as to what amp i need to get?
