Coil
« on: July 16, 2017, 01:00:59 PM »
This is my first halftrack and it is already proving to be a very steep (expensive) learning curve and I would greatly appreciate some advice. There is a definite weakness in the coil and HT leads so I'm going to start with replacing the rather rusty coil. Can I use any suitable 12v coil of does it have to be a specific type?

I'm in the UK and it is a 1943 White M3A1.

Thanks

Mine has a standard 12V automotive coil. If you go on the forum, the third heading down, Steve-O has provided a list of interchangeable part numbers that's very helpful. You can cross-reference these as well. Congratulations on your first half track and good luck!
