When you are the regimental commander you can pretty much do what you want......

There's a guy in (I believe) Indiana that has a half track with that mod.  I'll try and find a pic of it when I get home this weekend.

Seen that a couple of times (and I don't think it's the same one). One such picture comes from a newspaper cutting covering the fighting around St Lo in July-August 1944.
