WWII Halftrack pictures
« on: November 18, 2017, 01:12:49 PM »
Hi everbody,

I've found an interesting site with some pictures of HT's during world war 2.

https://www.worldwarphotos.info/gallery/usa/armoured-vehicles-2/

Some are pre-war and taken during field testing, and others are taking during the war. I find it interesting that in the M3 catalog, there are a lot of ,by Germans, captured tracks.

All in all, a nice compilation and maybe helpful to discover details for you all. Also interesting is the picture in the M3 catalog with the name of one of the tracks, "hitlers hearse". It is a nice link to the topic started by Tapper02 and answered in detail by Pat (67tank).

Cool site Rob...and yes, very interesting that over half the pics are of German captured halftracks.  I grabbed one of the pics and posted up on the nicknames thread.  Thanks!
