Fuel pump cover needed
« on: April 28, 2018, 06:50:39 PM »
So I tore into our fuel pump last night and started getting it cleaned up to verify all the parts were salvageable.  I took off the fuel bowl and it was packed full of that wonderful white, powdery corrosion.  After cleaning it further, I noticed the threaded hole that accepts the bolt holding on the fuel bowl is beyond repair.  I don't guess anyone has one of these laying in a parts pile anywhere?  The rest of the pump is fine and rebuildable, just not this one cover.

The piece I'm needing is part G - FUEL COVER in the following diagram.

Here is a pic of ours.

The halftrack uses an AC type AJ fuel pump. I would look for one on eBay to use as parts. I'm sure someone may have a spare for sale here also.

Thanks, Jeff
