Patton’s hearse project
« on: August 28, 2018, 08:30:20 PM »
I’m building Patton’s hearse. I have had to make a few parts no one seems to have. This tach looks a little different, but it works well and was cheap to make

The guts of the gauge came from a “Auto Meter” mini gauge from Amazon. It is the only one that stops at 6000 rpm. ($60)

Had to make my own pedestal “T” locks sense no one seems to have them. Kinda glad. Fun and cheap to make and only cost me about $30.00 for both. They are spring loaded, not screw in, and work very well.

When you get to play with them a little bit while you are in the process of the rebuild it gives you much more incentive to get more done.

Nice looking half-track and it will be historically correct without having the rear upper armor it's a great idea. Can I ask you where you got your front tires? I like them.
