well normally that piece is flat, it goes behind the front armor, maybe a spacer, not sure, have only seen it on one other halftrack

It looks like the spacer between the front cross member and lower radiator armor plate. Some halftracks used this and some used washers.

I plan on letting my daughters drive this to school when they are old enough, and although legally I didn’t have to put seat belts in, I didn’t want to argue with the Wife.

Running great ! Had to change out that “economizer” valve in the carb. That woke it up !

No more large empty holes in the dash. Just need wipers now
