Rear Brake Hose vs all Tubing
« on: January 25, 2011, 04:27:18 PM »
Anyone know when the rear brake hose was used. I have looked at two of my White tracks and one has the hose the other uses all steel tubing. I will look at the other tracks tomorrow.
 Thanks

the m2 short frame used the hose and the long frame (m3, m16) had all steel. im only basing this on the halftracks i have here so i could be wrong.

Makes sense. The White M2 has the hose and my White M16 has all tubing. I will check the others I have and see if this works out.

Since my frame was stretched they put all steel in but I'm going back with rubber but the hose connection on the M2 I robbed it off was a different size then my M3

Hi Gary, I should of clarified the fitting on my M3 is 1/2" and the one off the doner M2 was 7/16 and guys it is an obsolete thread pitch according to the the hose place.
