Oil Pump Question
« on: September 26, 2019, 06:01:50 PM »
Should there be a gasket where the pump bolts to the block?  Trying to solve a low oil PSI issue.

Thanks

I just checked all the manuals and did not see a gasket between the pump and block.

There is a spring in the oil pump that regulates the oil pressure. check to see if this spring is broken or collapsed. The specs. should be in the tech manual.

Just checked for my own, and there is a gasket between the pump and block. It is in the parts manual but without drawing on page 73 all the way down they refer to it.
