So... something you don't see everyday on E-bay.  Looks pretty nice, what says the group?

Quad Mount with M3 armor?

M16A1

If you look close there are some problems with it in my opinion for the price they are asking.

Shielded regulator and unshielded generator

Looks like no fuel tank cover on one side as the seat back pad is held on with straps that go over the fuel tank.

French speedo

And to me it looks like non original head lights.

And as mentioned above the ponymotor.

Also for what they are asking I would think that they would have posted a lot more photos of the interior and exterior.

*EDIT: Picture for reference. (sorry for potato quality..) Spelling

Good points Steve. It does have the slots for the shielded ignition box which is missing as well. So my guess is it was shielded after all.

On top of that, in order to be a M16A1 - the M45F (F stands for the additional extension ring that raises the mount the required 6 inches) quadmount - was supposed to be equipped with folding armor plates or "bat wings" for improved protection of the loaders. (Source: Tankograd no. 6010.) But that can be lost in time ofcourse, as we all experience with our projects.

Very nice looking HT though!
