stupid mistakes I’ve made.
« on: April 22, 2020, 09:36:17 PM »
My top five:
1) Sand blasting a part, then mistaking a can of WD40 as my primer.
2) Standing on a 5” cheater bar to “loosen” lug nuts on the left side of the HT only to twist the stud off. “Lefty tighty, righty loosey”
3) Not knowing there is more than one guy on the planet selling parts (computer stupid).
4) Grabbing old cracked plug wires while it’s running.
5) Buying a part again because I forgot I had already bought it a few years earlier (who needs an air horn clamp?)

Some of those are getting wiser as we grow older and some of those are from just getting old.  ;D

Being in my mid-60's and tackling a half-track project as if still in my mid-20's.

Listening to the guys who were saying "it's better to ask for forgiveness than asking permission" when I was debating on buying the halftrack!  That was VERY BAD advice for me when considering my wife!!!

Hey now, it all worked out in the end.  She got a new porch and you got a nice halftrack.  Now I can't comment about the time in between.  :D
