I drive mine a lot, and yes, it’s supper noisy and every hole in the floor boards is a hair dryer pointed at at my legs. I was able to cut some noise down by placing small sections of stick on felt in the corners of the door openings. You can make these by cutting up furniture leg pads found at any hardware store. You can also stick these to your upper doors in key areas to keep them from rattling when folded down. I’m considering laying a black rubber “diamond plate” mat down on my floor to help get both the heat and noise down. Every time I stop for gas, Someone asks “How fast does it go”? I always answer “45, but it’s like a crashing space ship, hauling marbles, hitting the atmosphere”.
