M3 modified in M3A1

Hello

I'm looking for information about the M3 halftrack modified in M3A1
The one I have, the machine gun mounts are not in the same place as an end of production M3A1. and they were welded.
the central tarpaulin hoop is not in the same place too .... The brackets have been dismantled and welded over to the rear.
Does anyone have any information where a halftrack like this one.

The center bow bracket placement is one of the things I noticed when I was drilling my armor. I wondered how they were changed  in the up grade. I suspect they were welded because it was tough to drill through the hard facing in the armor plate.
