Had put on the m35 steering knuckle boots wih the old halftrack wie clamps and the inners popped off after on turn so left then like that and now am revisiting them. Pick up some of the m35 clamps and installed them. Inner clamp popped off again after cycling the wheel once and bent the clamp. Are the clamping bolts suppose to be clocked in one particular area of the knuckle and how tight are you guys making the clamps, had about 1/2 to 5/8 spacing between the clamp eyes. Are they suppose to almost touch each other. Let me know what I’m doing wrong , thanks.
