Thanks to Steve P. for maintaining this site and allowing me to post here regarding the upcoming 2011 MVPA election.
Last months issue of "Supply Line" contained Bios on the candidates and the next issue, which should be in your mailbox soon, includes the ballot.
I was asked to run by several members and would be honored to represent all MV owners at the national meetings.
I am a federally licensed firearms dealer, including machine guns etc, and have been active here in Kansas defending the continued registration and tagging of military vehicles.
Much like firearms, military vehicles are coming under abusive scrutiny by government employees. I would like to aid the MVPA by getting protocol established for assisting local groups in combating restrictive legislation. Also after years of dealing with ATF agents I would like to have the MVPA endeavor to reduce the red tape involving importation of historic MVs from overseas.
