Merry Christmas!
« on: December 24, 2011, 12:38:58 PM »
Put my new top on today and went for a ride out in the field behind my shop and took some pictures. Thought they might make some nice christmas cards.

So what do you think?

Thanks guys.

Steve, I saw similar ones on another HT. Pretty simple to make and they have an "original" look to them.

The mirrors do look great, did they come with the 'track or you make them. What is used and how much modding is needed?

Thanks guys.

Merry Christmas all.

I hope to get a picture like that this winter to use as my Christmas Cards for next year.

I have Jeep mirrors for my mirrors and I just removed one bolt to install them.

Every year for the last 16 years, the Bride and I have made our Christmas cards with one of the military vehicles. This year it was with the 1941 M2 halftrack.
The Christmas cards are a big hit with the WWII vets....they save them, I have had 3 families return my Christmas cards after the Veteran had passed away. They would find the cards in a desk, or just framed in the vets work shop.

Not to hijack this, but how about some close up shots of the mirror and how its attaches  ;)

Kevin, Had a great christmas.

Andy, Here are a few pics of the mount.

The mount is a semi truck mirror fender mount drilled out to fit the armor bolt, and the arms are pipe with the ends crimped in a vise.
