Was there a 75mm recoiless mount ? ?
« on: January 19, 2012, 10:52:03 PM »
I was able to aquire a 75mm recoiless rifle from Jack Tomlin's place in Tooele before the whole thing got scraped.   I would like to put it into my M2 HT.

It's hard to say, I did not go over to the yard by the house the last trip down.    They say the whole thing is down to bare dirt now.
They were tight lipped as to where all the class III weapons ended up.
There was a whole shed full of the 75mm and 106mm recoilless rifles.   Most of them were scraped.

Alex at Idaho Motor Pool bought Jack's best HT with the 57mm registered gun in the back.
First pic is the Carrol brothers, and 2nd pic is Jack's former HT.

I think some Izzy halftracks had recoilless rifles on them but not sure, also same for some South American users.
