m16 halftrack in ohio

i have never seen a data plate like the one on this halftrack. looks like someone hacked in a rear door.

Steve, M16A2 would have had a rear door cut in at conversion, but do not know if this one is correct or not.

you may be right.
although i have heard only winch models where converted and when they converted them to A2 they welded up the fold down rear armor and changed the data plate. the door looks different than some of the original A2's i have seen.

Well, when they put it back together they put the tail lights on the wrong side.  ::)

New paint makes it look a lot better in the pictures though.
