New M2 halftack
« on: March 25, 2013, 11:19:55 PM »
I picked up this M2 halftrack the other day for parts, the more I look at it the more I think i should restore it oneday. Its frame is in way better shape than my M15A1 model, which i need to post pictures of it one day. This M2 is the early model, with single springs in back, has early headlight switches and aluminum floorboards. My guess its a white.

Looks like a good start to me.       Greg
If it casts a shadow it can be restored

Thanks for the comments, I had bought it for the axles and suspension stuff. The frame is I'm really good shape. I just need to find a decent motor and some tracks. Its so much easier when they run to move them around.

Not restored yet, still sits where she was un-loaded off the trailer. About all I have done to both of my halftracks is buy parts here and there and look at them and say one day I will start working on you.
